Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking Specialist Teachers to provide one-to-one support for SEND learners, delivering sessions in homes, online, or in the community. Roles include SEND Tutor, Intervention Tutor, and Specialist Teacher, with ongoing applications and rolling interviews.

You will work with students across KS1–KS5, in multiple settings, using a holistic, trauma-informed approach to tailor lessons and promote engagement and progress.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD in a trauma-informed approach.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / QTLS is required.
• UK-based with right to work; Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan lessons and report progress with regular feedback.
