Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking SEND Tutors to support children and young people with SEND, SEMH, and other needs in a trauma-informed, student-centred way. Tutors work across in-person, online, and hybrid formats, crafting tailored lessons with parents and schools to meet each learner’s goals.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, hold QTS/QTLS, and have Enhanced DBS clearance. Flexible scheduling and supportive pastoral pathways accompany a meaningful, impact-first role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, preferably with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, PMLD in a holistic, trauma-informed way.
• QTS or QTLS status is required.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references are expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Develop strong relationships with learners and plan flexible, trauma-informed lessons.
• Offer feedback on student progress and coordinate with parents, carers, and schools.
