Job summary

SENse Learning in the UK is offering SEND Teacher roles to provide one-to-one support for children and young people with SEND. Roles include SEND Tutor, Intervention Tutor and Specialist Teacher with flexible in-person, hybrid, and remote options.

We seek professionals with 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and a trauma-informed, student-centred approach. DBS and references are required; self-employment is common in this position.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD.
• Ability to work in a child-centred, holistic way with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid support for KS1–KS5 as appropriate.
• Plan lessons, deliver trauma-informed tutoring, and report on student progress.
