Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking Specialist Teachers to provide one-to-one support to SEND learners in the UK. Roles include SEND Tutor, Intervention Tutor, and Specialist Teacher, with homes and community-based sessions available. The team emphasizes trauma-informed, child-centered approaches and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) is required.
• Enhanced DBS check is recommended and can be facilitated.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with children and young people with diverse needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report lessons and provide feedback on progress.
• Support safeguarding and create a safe learning environment.
