Job summary

SENse Learning seeks SEND Tutors to provide one-to-one support for children and young people with SEND across the UK. Roles offer in-person, online/remote, and hybrid delivery, with flexible hours and self-employment options tailored to client needs.

Applicants should have QTS/QTLS, 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, and safeguarding knowledge. DBS clearance and references are requested; interviews are rolling as applications arrive.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD in holistic, trauma-informed settings.
• Understanding of child-centred, holistic teaching and ability to adapt the curriculum.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and DBS processes; references available.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• UK-based with right to work in the UK.
• Safeguarding knowledge and mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan lessons, tailor approaches, and report on student progress.
• Tailor tutoring/mentoring to EHCP and risk assessments.
