Job summary

Seetec is recruiting an Employment Adviser for an office-based role in Redditch. You will provide advice and support to guide participants to overcome barriers to employment, acting as their coach and trusted contact throughout their journey to sustainable work.

Responsibilities include managing a caseload, achieving targets, delivering excellent customer service, and helping customers with job-search and interview preparation.

Qualifications

• Essential: knowledge of local labour market in Redditch area.
• Basic knowledge of self-employment.
• Fully IT literate in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in a target-driven environment.
• Experience delivering services meeting standards.

Responsibilities

• Meet and strive to exceed personal performance targets (KPIs).
• Progressively manage a caseload of referred customers to overcome barriers to employment.
• Deliver a positive customer experience and ensure engagement with the programme.
• Provide tailored job-search support and interview preparation.
• Develop personalised Action Plans with SMART targets.
• Advise on self-employment basics and signpost to specialists.
• Maintain compliant customer records and evidence of job starts.
