Job summary

Seetec Group in Redditch is seeking an Employment Adviser to provide guidance and support to participants, helping them overcome barriers to employment and achieve realistic job goals.

You will manage a caseload, coach and mentor clients, build strong relationships, and work to help customers secure sustainable employment. The role is office-based in Redditch, with a 37-hour week and a closing date 12 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of the local labour market in the specified locations.
• Basic knowledge of self-employment.
• Fully IT literate with Microsoft Office programs.
• Experience in a target-driven environment.
• Experience delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed personal performance targets (KPIs).
• Progressively manage a caseload of referred customers and help them overcome barriers to employment.
• Deliver a positive customer experience and ensure engagement with the programme.
• Maintain Customer Service Standards on the programme.
• Conduct assessments using various tools to understand personal circumstances and goals.
• Provide guidance on self-employment and signpost to internal specialists.
• Co-produce personalised SMART Action Plans for progression.
• Support job-search and interview preparation to match clients to suitable roles.
• Assist with digital skills training and guided self-service learning resources.
• Ensure evidence requirements for job starts are met.
• Understand the local labour market to source opportunities.
• Market and network with employers to create opportunities.
• Prescreen and assess recruitment needs of employers.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders to maximise job opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records in line with compliance standards.
• Understand specialist signposting services and apply them in caseload management.
• Act as an employee owner and promote best practices.
• Be flexible to travel and overnight stays as needed.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
