Job summary

Qualifications

• Compassionate and resilient individual with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of young people.
• Background in health care or as a support worker is welcome; experience with students with additional needs and SEMH is preferable.
• Ability to start as soon as possible and work in a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

• Support students in managing their behaviour, building confidence and making progress across the curriculum.
• Work on 1:1 and small group basis with students.
• Provide support at a Client Secondary school for students with additional needs in York.
