A leading technology organization in Greater London seeks an ICT Technical Infrastructure Manager to lead and manage IT services. The role involves ensuring the alignment of IT infrastructure and services with business needs, overseeing performance management, and collaborating with executive teams. The ICT Technical Infrastructure Manager will lead, direct and manage all infrastructure‑related IT services across the organisation, ensuring they are strategically and operationally aligned with business needs and support ongoing continual service improvement.
The post holder will oversee the management and monitoring of the IT infrastructure to ensure maximum service availability and cost‑effective capacity management, including the close financial management of contracts with third‑party suppliers.
This senior management role carries broad responsibility for the performance and development of internal IT services. As a member of the ICT Senior Management Team, the post holder will be expected to innovate, enhance and expand existing services by working in partnership with the Head of ICT, senior business managers and other members of the Executive Team. This will be achieved through the development and delivery of operational and strategic plans for all IT services within the organisation, including service strategy and planning, policies, procedures, quality standards, cross‑departmental collaboration and external stakeholder relationships.
The ICT Technical Infrastructure Manager will be required to represent the organisation at a senior level, both internally and externally. The post holder will need strong technical, business and financial acumen to ensure that current and future operations remain sustainable and viable, and can clearly demonstrate positive outcomes and value to the business.
