Job description

We are seeking a Hydraulics Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, workshop-based environment with a focus on the repair, refurbishment, and assembly of hydraulic components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, strip down, and refurbish hydraulic rams to industry standards.
  • Manufacture and assemble new hydraulic hoses to specifications.
  • Pressure test and quality check all refurbished and new components.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
  • Diagnose hydraulic faults and recommend practical repair solutions.
  • Liaise with colleagues and supervisors to ensure timely completion of work.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with hydraulic systems and components.
  • Strong mechanical fitting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and understand hydraulic schematics.
  • Experience with hose crimping equipment (desirable).
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to health & safety and quality standards.
