Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing setting is essential.
  • Experience in managing people in a unionised environment.
  • Flexibility to travel across UK locations required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead HR activity and deliver strategic plans for Operations and Supply Chain.
  • Manage day-to-day People priorities at the site.
  • Champion communication and engage staff within business functions.

Current knowledge of UK HR best practice
Influencing and coaching skills
Ability to constructively challenge accepted norms
Commercial focus and confidentiality
Proficient with Microsoft Office and HR ERP software

Education

GCSE Grade C in Maths and English
Post Graduate diploma in HR or relevant subject
Membership of Professional HR body (CIPD)
