Job summary

London-based IT Support Technician role offering approximately one day per week of remote work within a regulated financial services environment.

The position covers end-to-end IT support across hardware, software, accounts, telephony and meeting spaces, with a clear path toward senior support or infrastructure roles.

You will report to the Endpoint Support Manager and Head of IT, benefiting from a structured team with visibility for progression.

Qualifications

• Microsoft 365 knowledge including Teams and OneDrive.
• Active Directory and Entra administration with groups, OUs, GPO and MIM.
• Basic networking: TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS.
• Experience supporting conference rooms and large events on Zoom Rooms or Teams.
• Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Experience on a service desk with strong customer focus.
• Understanding of mobile device management and endpoint security.
• Willingness to work set support schedules and be reachable out of hours in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Taking user calls and logging each issue in the ticket system.
• Setting up and fixing laptops, desktops, phones and mobile devices.
• Configuring network and local printers.
• Administering Windows and Apple iOS devices and their software.
• Working with suppliers to keep their products and services running.
• Ensuring every workstation can reach the services it needs.
• Carrying out equipment installs, moves and changes on site.
• Tracking performance and producing reports.
• Planning and carrying out upgrades, repairs and refresh cycles.
• Writing and updating desktop documentation.
