Job summary

Simplex-Services, a Brighton-based IT consultancy, is seeking an End User Engineer to deliver hands-on end-user support and ensure smooth IT operations. You will manage devices, handle OS and app deployments, and assist with security updates.

The role requires 4+ years in end-user support, strong Windows/Office 365 knowledge, and excellent problem-solving and customer-service skills. On-site and remote support will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of end-user support or IT helpdesk experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals.
• Hardware troubleshooting, software installations, and remote support tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for end-user devices including desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network issues efficiently.
• Install, configure and maintain operating systems, applications and security updates.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access controls per IT policies.
• Support Microsoft Office 365, Windows and other enterprise apps.
• Collaborate with IT team on system upgrades and migrations.
• Ensure compliance with IT security protocols and data protection regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of issues, solutions and procedures.
• Provide remote and on-site support as required.
