Job summary

SJ Group is seeking a Senior Technology Support Specialist to provide onsite and remote IT support across our UK offices. You will resolve hardware, software and network issues, support meeting-room technology and help keep endpoint devices secure and up to date.

You will handle Level 1/2 incidents, configure equipment, support video conferencing, onboarding/offboarding tasks and vendor coordination, while mentoring colleagues and improving support processes across the team.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT or related field with 4–5 years of experience, or a diploma with 7–8 years of experience.
• Experience supporting around 200 users in a large corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Teams, endpoint support, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience managing tickets, IT assets, vendors and small technology projects.
• ITIL Foundation certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support for incidents and service requests.
• Configure equipment and software, diagnose faults and resolve issues.
• Support video-conferencing and meeting-room technology.
• Prepare equipment and access for new starters and recover devices during offboarding.
• Maintain tickets, asset records, procedures and training materials.
• Coordinate vendors and monitor SLA performance.
• Lead local desktop projects and mentor colleagues.
