The Tech Recruiter is assisting a Glasgow-based IT solutions and managed services provider to recruit an IT Business Development Manager in Glasgow city centre. The role covers end-to-end sales, generating opportunities, managing the pipeline and turning prospects into long-term customers.

You will engage with senior decision-makers, present IT solutions, and work across cloud, cybersecurity, and digital transformation to drive business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven IT sales track record with lead gen and closing deals.
• Strong negotiation and presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Experience selling IT solutions, cloud, cybersecurity, or digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through proactive lead generation.
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline across target markets.
• Conduct discovery meetings to understand client requirements.
• Present technology solutions and managed services to clients.
• Prepare proposals and negotiate commercial terms.
• Close new business opportunities and secure contracts.
• Maintain CRM records and accurate forecasting.
• Build long-term customer relationships and hit revenue targets.
