Job summary

A multinational high-street retailer is seeking a Buying Admin Assistant for a 3-month contract in Paddington, London. The role focuses on product management and coordination across various departments, ensuring timely product launches and accurate inventory management. The ideal candidate will possess strong Excel skills and experience with retail management software like SAP or Netsuite. This hybrid position offers a pay rate of £15 per hour, requiring the ability to multitask and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage the product set up process across multiple brands.
• Own and ensure the critical path is up to date for product creation.
• Ownership of newness tracking and resolving product go-live issues.
• Work closely with accounts team to resolve buying related queries.
• Ensure Range Plan data is accurate and populated efficiently.
• Request and organise samples for marketing and e-commerce photoshoots.

Skills

Strong proficiency in Excel (including data analysis, formulas and pivot tables)

Ability to work with line manager to prioritise workload effectively

Strong attention to detail

Ability to handle various administrative tasks at once

Knowledge of product categories, brands and trends in the Sportswear market

Experience with systems like SAP / Netsuite or similar

Experience in updating and maintaining product data

Ability to manage work and stakeholders across different departments
