Qualifications

• Experience supporting and troubleshooting complex multi-site LAN/WAN environments is essential.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise switches, routers, and firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper) preferred.
• Strong understanding of network security and routing protocols is critical.

Responsibilities

• Support a diverse customer base in public and private sectors.
• Provide second and third line support as part of the role.
• Work on-call as part of a rota, paid accordingly.

Skills

Supporting and troubleshooting complex multi-site LAN/WAN environments

Configuration and management of enterprise switches, routers, and firewalls

Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)

Network security concepts knowledge

VLAN design and inter-VLAN routing experience

Wireless networking experience

Network monitoring tools proficiency

Network automation and scripting knowledge

Cloud networking familiarity

High-availability solution implementation

DNS, DHCP, NAT experience

Education

Cisco CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certification
