Our client is a multi‑disciplined HVAC company that delivers quality services to clients nationwide. The company is now looking for an experienced HVAC/Duct Engineer based in and around Chelmsford. The successful applicant will come from a strong HVAC/Duct work background and have experience carrying out ventilation surveys, and ideally be able to sketch single‑line drawings of ductworks. Applications from Colchester, Basildon, Southend‑on‑sea and surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong educational background.
• HVAC certification.
• Experience working in an HVAC/Duct role within the industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office package.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must hold a CSCS card.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out ventilation surveys.
• Sketching single‑line drawings.
• Carry out condition reports on ventilation systems.
• Building and maintaining good working relationships with the company’s new and existing clients.
• Testing critical ventilation across a wide variety of industries.
• Ensuring systems operate in accordance with relevant health & safety, technical and company specifications.
• Testing, airflow and pressure measurements, air sampling, noise and environmental measurements.
• Auditing Air Handling Units and undertaking works where necessary.
• Inspecting project installs when required.
• Produce reports and prepare quotations.
• Full clean driving licence essential.
