HV Electrical Trainer (Senior Authorised Person) — Swindon

Salary: Up to £60,000 + Monday to Friday Schedule + No Travel Required + Full Training Provided + Structured Upskilling Programme + Healthcare Scheme + Pension + 33 Days Holiday

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HV electrical engineer or Senior Authorised Person to move into a training and assessment role. You will deliver engaging and informative training on High Voltage operational procedures and electrical safety principles, in a state-of-the-art facility, with no travel and no weekend work. The role supports developing the next generation of electrical engineers while providing a stable work-life balance.

We are working with a highly respected technical training provider that is continuing to grow and invest in its training facilities, equipment, and team. Their mission is to become the UK\'s leading training provider in the energy and engineering sectors, and they are looking for experienced high voltage professionals to help achieve this.

The ideal candidate will live within a commutable distance to Swindon, have a proven track record in high voltage electrical engineering, and hold Senior Authorised Person status.

This is a brilliant role for a Senior Authorised Person to move off the tools into a lead trainer position and progress toward subject-matter expert status within the training provider.

Qualifications
  • Strong high voltage background (up to 11kV or higher)
  • Senior Authorised Person (SAP) status or similar authorisation
  • Industrial electrical engineering background (e.g. power generation, utilities, renewables, MOD, rail, etc.)
  • Passion for developing others and a desire to move into a training environment
  • Teaching/training experience is not essential — full training is provided
