Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Scope: Supporting one key brand initially, with clear progression into a group-wide HR leadership role.

Are you an HR professional with experience across both corporate environments and operational, shop-floor settings, such as hospitality, retail, or food & beverage? We are a fast-growing grab-and-go restaurant group seeking a hands-on, commercially minded HR leader to help shape and scale our people function during an exciting period of expansion.

This role offers the opportunity to influence organisational culture, improve HR processes, and partner closely with senior stakeholders. You will initially support one of our core brands and, as the business grows, transition into a group-level position overseeing HR across multiple concepts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business needs and growth plans
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on onboarding, compliance, and performance management
  • Lead recruitment for operational and head-office roles, partnering with hiring managers across the business
  • Advise and coach managers on employee relations, HR policies, and people management best practices
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment law and maintain up-to-date HR documentation
  • Maintain accurate people analytics (headcount, turnover, retention trends, engagement insights)
  • Drive employee engagement and help build a positive, inclusive workplace culture
  • Manage HR systems—including Fourth Workforce Management and Fourth Payroll
  • Oversee timesheet accuracy, absences, holidays, and weekly labour controls
  • Collaborate with external HR consultants on specialised or complex cases
  • Support day-to-day HR operations and assist head office functions when needed
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor in hospitality, food & beverage, retail, or similarly fast-paced, customer-facing environments
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and experience supporting distributed, high-volume frontline teams
  • Solid experience managing recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations at scale
  • CIPD Level 5+ (or equivalent practical experience) – highly advantageous
  • Comfortable implementing and improving HR systems and processes (experience with Fourth is a plus)
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence at both shop-floor and senior leadership levels
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused, with a desire to grow into a group-level HR leadership role
Why Join Us?
  • Join a modern, fast-scaling restaurant group with strong brand recognition and ambitious growth plans
  • Take ownership of HR for a key brand, with a clear path into a group-wide leadership role
  • Make a meaningful impact by shaping people strategy, culture, and HR operations from the ground up
  • Work directly with founders and senior leadership in an entrepreneurial, supportive environment
  • Competitive salary and excellent long-term growth potential
