Role Purpose
The Human Capital Specialist will be responsible for driving the efficiency and effectiveness of HR Shared Services within a finance/investment environment. The role requires strong process documentation skills, deep understanding of the HR value chain, and solid HR systems knowledge. The successful candidate will support business objectives by optimising shared services delivery, ensuring compliance, and embedding best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage HR Shared Services operations to ensure streamlined, efficient processes.
- Document, review, and continuously improve HR processes across the value chain.
- Support the implementation and optimisation of HR systems, ensuring data integrity and system adoption.
- Oversee HR administration, including employee data management, benefits, and payroll interfaces.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Centres of Excellence to ensure integrated HR solutions.
- Develop and maintain policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process maps.
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation, governance, and internal audit requirements.
- Provide HR reporting and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Contribute to organisational projects related to digitalisation and human capital optimisation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Honours degree in Industrial Psychology, Human Resources, or related field (Master’s an advantage).
- Minimum 12-15 years’ Human Capital experience, with at least 8 years in Shared Services or HR Operations.
- Strong background in HR process design, documentation, and value chain optimisation.
- Proven HR systems knowledge (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Cornerstone, or similar platforms).
- Experience in finance/investment industry is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders at all levels, with strong reporting skills.
