Long established building contractor who has a large pipeline of work urgently requires a Senior Design Manager for their busy office in SE London.

The company primarily builds apartment blocks for Local Authorities and Residential Providers. These are RC (reinforced concrete) blocks built to an affordable specification throughout London and Greater London areas. The apartments typically range from 8 to 18 storeys. All projects are secured through competitive tendering and bidding, with the company being very successful in this area. They operate as a building contractor with tight margins, similar to the majority of the building contracting market, and seek someone familiar with this setup.

The ideal candidate will be a time-served HSEQ / H&S or Quality Manager with extensive experience working for a medium-sized main contractor. It is essential that the candidate has a detailed understanding of H&S, environmental, and quality standards within residential building projects.
