Roles And Responsibilities for the HSE Manager
  • Manage on-site HSE risk controls and ensure ongoing communication between staff and management
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies and performance standards
  • Act as the main contact for contractors for HSE procedures
  • Create and update HSE procedures
  • Communicate clearly at all levels to support a strong safety culture
  • Participate in risk assessments and audits
Desired experience for the HSE Manager
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent professional health and safety qualification
  • 8 years' experience in chemical plant/refinery sector
  • Knowledge of all relevant UK/European HSE standards and regulations including PSM
  • Ability to relate to and communicate effectively with the plant floor
