Are you a Health & Safety professional from a manufacturing background seeking a key role in a high‑growth SME that has doubled in size in the last 18 months?

On offer is an opportunity to play a crucial role in the business's ongoing success and growth, where they are seeking a Health & Safety professional to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and to drive continuous improvement across the business.

The company is a leading provider of fully integrated power, monitoring, and control systems in the marine, vehicle, and off‑grid markets, which combine renewable energy sources with traditional power sources, enabling reduced emissions and improved energy efficiency.

As an experienced HSE professional, you will be NEBOSH qualified and a member of IOSH, and develop, implement, and oversee the company's health, safety, and environmental management system.

The role :

• Managing and monitoring the health and safety management system and the continual improvement of health and safety across the company
• Developing, implementing, and overseeing the company's environmental management system, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards
• Providing day‑to‑day support for managers and colleagues, ensuring policies and procedures are consistently applied in line with the principles of sensible risk management
• Promoting a culture of managing and being accountable for risk

The person :

• NEBOSH Diploma or NEBOSH Certificate
• Proven experience working in Health and Safety in a lead role, and experience in environmental management
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment
