Overview

HSE Engineer - Offshore | Outside IR35 | £500-£600 per day | South West London (Hybrid). Ceto Talent are currently recruiting for an experienced HSE Professional to join a major new carbon capture project on a 12-month contract (with strong potential to extend).

This is a freelance / contract role Outside IR35, offering a competitive day rate of £500-£600 with a hybrid working arrangement (3 days office / 2 days home).

Role

You will be part of a dedicated HSE project team, ensuring compliance, risk management, and safety systems are implemented and maintained effectively across this high-profile energy transition project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Subcontractor management and evaluation, including supplier documentation.
  • Development and maintenance of project HSE deliverables.
  • Leading risk management processes and readiness reviews.
  • Conducting internal HSE audits and leading investigations.
  • Emergency response coordination.
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
What We\'re Looking For
  • Qualified HSE professional (NEBOSH or equivalent).
  • Auditor certification (essential).
  • Strong offshore project experience, ideally within IMCA/IOGP standards.
  • Proven track record in investigations and risk management.
Contract & Package
  • Outside IR35 - £500-£600 per day.
  • Initial 12-month contract, highly likely to extend.
  • Hybrid working: 3 days office / 2 days home.
  • Based in South West London.
  • Start date: ASAP.
