HR Business Partner
Belfast City Airport

VANRATH is delighted to be exclusively partnering with Belfast City Airport, one of Northern Ireland's most recognisable and award-winning transport hubs, to recruit an HR Business Partner on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of HR, the HR Business Partner will play a key role in providing exceptional support to managers, employees and stakeholders across the Human Resources and Corporate Responsibility arena - adding value, delivering best practice and helping implement the People and CR Plan.

You will be part of a team driving a values-led culture, where people and community truly sit at the heart of the business. The role offers an outstanding opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment that celebrates diversity, innovation, and connection - both within the organisation and across Northern Ireland's wider community.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Supporting end-to-end HR processes, from recruitment and on-boarding to payroll and performance management.
  • Advising on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with policies and best practice.
  • Championing Equality, Diversity & Inclusion through staff engagement and forum leadership.
  • Supporting Corporate Responsibility initiatives, including community partnerships and educational programmes.
  • Leading on HR data reporting, compliance, and process improvement projects.
The Person
  • At least 3 year's experience in a Generalist HR role.
  • CIPD qualified, with a relevant third-level qualification.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, pressurised environment with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the confidence to engage at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
