Job summary

A leading HR consultancy is looking for an HR Business Partner to work closely with senior leadership and regional teams during a period of transition. This pivotal role focuses on employee relations and performance management, ensuring HR policies are upheld. Ideal candidates will have proven experience in similar roles, strong knowledge of UK employment law, and excellent communication skills. The position is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Maidenhead, with a 3 days on-site and 2 days remote working pattern.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner at a regional level within a global company.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, changing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations and UK employment law.

HR Business Partner - 12 month contract

£55,000 per annum - £215 Day Rate

Role

The Role: This is a pivotal HR position where you'll work closely with senior leadership and regional teams to support the organisation through a period of transition. You'll be the go-to person for all things employee relations and performance management, with a key focus on ensuring HR policies are effectively communicated and upheld.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a variety of employee relations (ER) matters
  • Advise and coach managers on performance management, grievances, compliance violations, and policy adherence
  • Navigate union or employee council issues confidently
  • Collaborate across global teams to ensure HR initiatives align with the organisation's transformation goals
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and internal procedures
About You
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner at a regional level within a global company
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, changing environments
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations and UK employment law
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above preferred)
  • Previous experience in a pharma or life sciences environment is a bonus
