Overview

Urang Property Management Ltd is seeking a highly motivated HR & Payroll Advisor to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional with strong payroll administration expertise and a passion for employee relations. You will be responsible for supporting HR operations, ensuring accurate payroll processing, and assisting with recruitment and compliance for our block staffing needs. The position also involves working closely with clients, managers, and on-site teams to meet HR and payroll requirements effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Payroll & HR Administration
  • Administer UK payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Handle payroll queries and liaise with outsourced payroll providers.
  • Process payroll changes, including salary adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with pension scheme requirements.
HR Operations & Compliance
  • Ensure HR documentation is accurate, up to date, and legally compliant.
  • Support block staffing needs by maintaining effective HR processes.
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, performance appraisals, and offboarding.
  • Manage time off/absence tracking and HRIS updates.
  • Support TUPE transfer processes and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Stay updated on UK employment laws and industry trends.
Employee Relations (ER)
  • Provide guidance to property managers and clients on ER matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  • Ensure ER cases are handled fairly, efficiently, and in line with company policies and UK employment law.
  • Collaborate with the Senior HR Advisor to resolve workplace disputes.
  • Maintain accurate records of ER casework and outcomes.
Recruitment & Workforce Planning
  • Oversee recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding coordination.
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions and person specifications.
  • Work with managers to align workforce planning with operational demands.
Client Support & Reporting
  • Support the Senior HR Advisor in building strong working relationships with clients and block staff.
  • Liaise with clients to address HR, staffing, and payroll needs.
  • Ensure clients receive timely and effective HR support.
  • Prepare reports on staffing levels, payroll data, ER cases, and HR metrics.
Skills and Qualifications
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an HR Advisor role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
