Job summary

A leading HR services provider is seeking an HR Officer based in Somerset. You will support HR operations, staff engagement, and internal communications. Responsibilities include coordinating recruitment, managing staff welfare events, designing communication materials, and assisting with onboarding new hires. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource or related fields and proficiency in Canva. The position offers a 6-month contract and opportunities for extension.

Join our team and play a key role in supporting HR operations, staff engagement, and internal communications in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

You will support a variety of HR, communications, and administrative functions, including:

  • Coordinate recruitment and management of temporary staff (job postings, onboarding support, billing coordination)

  • Support staff welfare and Organisation Development (OD) events, including planning, logistics, event setup, and procurement

  • Design communication materials such as EDMs and visual content for events, initiatives, and announcements

  • Update employee records and support onboarding of new hires

  • Assist with finance-related tasks, including basic reporting, data collation, and audit support

  • Support general administration and facilities management matters

  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource, Marketing, Business, or other relevant fields

  • Proficient in Canva, with the ability to design EDMs and visual materials

  • Good organisational and communication skills

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadline
