VANRATH are partnering with a manufacturing client located in the Antrim area, with the appointment of a HR Officer.

You will be responsible for operating within key HR functions, including recruitment, absence management, and performance processes. Responsibilities include handling investigations, grievances, staff contracts, and coordinating occupational health.

You will look after:

  • Absence management
  • Employee engagement
  • Forum attendance
  • Engagement in HR projects
  • Investigations & grievances
  • Occupational health coordination
  • Performance management adherence
  • Policy compliance
  • Recruitment activity
  • Record maintenance & HR metric reporting
  • Staff contract preparation

The Person

  • HR Degree or CIPD Level 5
  • At least 2 years HR experience preferably gained in a similar role within a relevant industrial environment;
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines;
  • Sound knowledge of current employment legislation;
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Knowledge of payroll functions;
  • Driver with access to transport.
