What we are looking for

As tmp continues to grow across markets, we’ve built a People team that operates globally with precision, fairness, and authenticity. The role of HR Coordinator will support with global payroll, benefits, compensation, and compliance tasks to ensure our practices are accurate and consistent, and that our employees feel valued and supported. This is an administrative and operational role that will manage day-to-day tasks and delivery of payroll, benefits, and compliance across multiple countries. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual that is early in their People career and are seeking to build an expertise in global compensation, benefits, payroll, and compliance. In this role you’ll gain hands‑on experience supporting these key people programs and ensuring workflows run smoothly and with accuracy.

What you will do

As the HR Coordinator, you’ll report to the Associate Director, Compensation & Benefits with a focus on supporting global compliance, payroll operations, and benefits administration. This role ensures accurate and timely execution of critical people processes across multiple regions, partnering closely with internal teams and external vendors. You will maintain high standards of data integrity, service delivery, and confidentiality while contributing to an exceptional employee experience throughout the global organisation.

Payroll & Benefits Administration
  • Serve as a day‑to‑day liaison between the People team and global payroll providers to prepare payroll data and ensure timely, accurate payroll submissions.
  • Input, validate, and maintain company and employee data in HRIS, payroll & benefit systems, including adding new hires, terminations, compensation changes, deductions, leaves of absence, and ongoing benefit adjustments.
  • Assist with conducting regular payroll and benefit audits in regional systems to ensure continuous accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
  • Respond to benefit & payroll‑related inquiries from internal employees with sensitivity, professionalism and confidentiality; liaise with external vendors to resolve their inquiries when needed.
  • Assist with auditing and reconciliation of monthly benefit carrier invoices to ensure they properly reflect fluctuating employee enrollments.
  • Create and maintain employee leave of absence payroll trackers to support ongoing pay visibility and reconciliation for employees on leave.
Global Compliance
  • Assist with maintaining compliance with employment law, tax, and regulatory requirements across all of tmp’s regions.
  • Completing and verifying new hire paperwork for accuracy and compliance based on regional employment requirements.
  • Supporting internal audits and reporting, while proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigations.
  • Staying up‑to‑date on global and regional data compliance requirements (GDPR and other country or state‑specific standards), managing accurate reporting and documentation for each.
  • Support mobility‑related tasks such as visa documentation, relocation assistance, maintaining records, and liaising with external vendors where needed.
  • Tracking, administering, and driving completion of mandatory compliance trainings in vendor systems.
Compensation Management
  • Support with administration of twice‑annual compensation review cycles through data entry, reporting, and paperwork.
  • Assist with conducting annual and ongoing global compensation benchmarking and gender pay gap research to maintain equitable compensation practices globally.
  • Proactively monitor pay equity and pay compliance across all regions, identifying opportunities to enhance fairness and mitigate risk.
  • Maintain compliant, accurate and organised compensation documentation.
  • Support with regular and ad‑hoc requests with compensation reporting in People systems.

What you will need
  • 1‑3 years of experience in an HR or People Operations role.
  • Fundamental knowledge of compensation, benefit, payroll administration, and compliance, preferably in the UK.
  • Familiarity with HR/People systems, Microsoft Office Suite, data reporting, and auditing.
  • A meticulous attention to detail, discipline, and a passion for data accuracy and reliability.
  • An eagerness to learn more, streamline processes, and comfort asking questions.
  • Strong sense of confidentiality and an ability to handle sensitive information carefully and with integrity.
  • A professional HR accreditation, or an interest in achieving one in the future.
