Job summary

A leading care home provider in Uxbridge is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join their senior leadership team. This role requires strong knowledge of the care sector and involves providing strategic and hands-on HR support across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in HR partnership, a solid background in regulated industries, and the ability to influence leadership effectively. A valid driver's license and travel across locations will be necessary for this role.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner with a strong background in the care sector.
  • Solid experience in the care industry or a highly regulated sector.
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to work at both strategic and operational levels.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Regional and Home Managers for effective people management.
  • Lead on complex employee relations cases including disciplinaries and grievances.
  • Support recruitment, retention, and workforce planning across the group.
  • Drive engagement and culture development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and sector best practices.
  • Support organizational changes and restructures.
  • Coach and develop managers for a strong leadership team.

We are now looking for an experienced HR Business Partner with strong care sector knowledge to join our senior leadership team and play a pivotal role in driving our people strategy across the organisation.

You will bring energy, enthusiasm and a positive presence, with the confidence to influence and challenge managers.

As HR Business Partner, you will work closely with operational leaders and home managers, providing strategic and hands‑on HR support across a multi‑site care environment. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring best practice, legal compliance and a strong employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partnering with Regional and Home Managers to support operational performance through effective people management
  • Leading on complex employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance management
  • Supporting recruitment, retention and workforce planning across the group
  • Driving engagement, culture and leadership development initiatives
  • Ensuring full compliance with employment law, CQC expectations and sector best practice
  • Supporting organisational change, restructures and TUPE where required
  • Coaching and developing managers to build a strong, compliant and confident leadership team
Qualifications & Experience

You will be an experienced HR professional with a strong background in the care sector.

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner
  • Solid experience working within the care industry or a highly regulated sector
  • A hands‑on approach with the ability to work at both strategic and operational levels
  • Must have CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent experience)
  • Must drive and have own car, will have to travel across homes as required
