HR Business Partner (6-Month FTC)

Salary: £60,000 (Fixed Term Contract)

Location: Towcester, Northampton

Start: January 2026 (subject to clearances)

We’re looking for a hands‑on, operationally focused HR Business Partner to support the launch of a brand‑new manufacturing facility in Towcester. This HR Business Partner role is a fantastic opportunity to play a key part in an exciting site transition project within a global engineering and aerospace organisation.

In this fast‑paced, delivery‑focused position, the HR Business Partner will take ownership of day‑to‑day HR activity connected to the setup of the new facility—supporting recruitment, onboarding, training coordination, and employee welfare for new starters. Working closely with site leaders, project teams, and recruitment partners, you’ll ensure the workforce is ready, engaged, and fully supported throughout the move.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Coordinating end‑to‑end recruitment for c.20 manufacturing roles, working with agencies and using SuccessFactors.
  • Supporting the HR workstream for the site launch, ensuring compliance, readiness, and smooth operational execution.
  • Managing onboarding activity, including BPSS clearances.
  • Organising training logistics, including travel and welfare arrangements.
  • Providing regular updates, reporting, and metrics to key stakeholders.
What you’ll bring:
  • Strong operational HR experience within manufacturing or similar environments.
  • Confidence managing recruitment processes and high‑volume hiring.
  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using SuccessFactors (ideally recruitment module).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and deliver at pace.

If you’re an adaptable, proactive HR Business Partner who thrives in operational delivery and project‑led environments, we’d love to hear from you.
