A recruitment agency is partnering with a large manufacturing site in Newport to find an experienced HR Business Partner. This role requires building trusted relationships on-site 5 days a week, with responsibilities including coaching management, supporting employee relations, and driving employee engagement. The ideal candidate should be degree-qualified and CIPD accredited, with a minimum of three years in HRBP roles. A competitively generous salary of up to £55k is on offer.
Flk Recruitment are partnering with a fantastic business in South Wales supporting with the recruitment of an experienced HR Business Partner for a large, fast-paced and diverse Manufacturing site in Newport.
As a result of recent changes to their operating model and with a new Operational and People leadership team in place, the business is now entering a new phase in its evolution and is looking to HR to help drive employee engagement and capability.
They are looking for a commercially-focused HR Business Partner to work closely with the business.
This role touches on all areas of the employee lifecycle from inductions, ER advice, HR reporting and policies through to HR projects.
You are educated to degree level (or equivalent) and are CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above).
You have been working as an HRBP for 3+ years but still very much looking to develop and grow within a close knit and supportive people team. This site has an engaging and inspiring Head of HR and there's a clear people plan in place to drive positive cultural change over the next few years.
This is a broad and varied role and no two days will be the same however, there's still a chunky element of Employee Relations within this role. It will be advantageous in your application if you have previously worked within sectors such as Manufacturing, Retail or Distribution. It is essential that you can adapt your style to working with both Senior Management and frontline colleagues.
A sound understanding of UK employment law and its application to HR practice is key.
This is a role which is embedded in the business, requiring you to build trusted relationships with the business. As such you will appreciate the need to work on-site 5 days a week (note
there is flexibility with start and finish times if needed.
A generous base salary of up to £55k is on offer.
