Qualifications

  • CIPD Level 3 or above is desirable.
  • Relevant HR qualification or qualified by experience is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive HR support as the first contact for all HR matters.
  • Manage employee relations casework and compliance activities.
  • Take responsibility for disciplinary matters within the site.
  • Advise managers on best practices for HR compliance.
  • Collaborate with management for succession planning and employee engagement.
  • Oversee onboarding processes for new starters.
  • Support wellbeing initiatives and manage sickness absence.
  • Act as a trusted contact for employee HR queries.
  • Develop and implement HR policies in line with legislative updates.

Skills

Managing ER cases independently
Written and verbal communication skills
Organisational and analytical skills
Knowledge of UK Employment Law
Ability to work autonomously
Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems
Problem-solving skills
Experience in multi-site operations

Education

CIPD Level 3 or above
