Location: North Yorkshire

Salary: 32,000 to 38,000 plus benefits

Working Pattern: Full time, on site

We are working with a growing FMCG manufacturing business in North Yorkshire to recruit an HR Advisor to join their friendly, site-based HR team.

This is a hands‑on role where you will be visible on the shop floor, working closely with managers and employees and supporting the full employee lifecycle. It is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, building relationships and being part of a fast‑paced operational environment.

What you will be doing
  • Provide day to day HR advice and support to managers and employees, acting as the first point of contact for HR queries
  • Support and manage employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, absence and welfare cases
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding activity, HR systems, employee records and associated administration
  • Support engagement, wellbeing, training and wider HR projects across the site
What we are looking for
  • Previous experience in a HR Advisor or HR generalist role within a fast‑paced environment, ideally FMCG or manufacturing
  • Confident advising managers and handling ER cases with a sound understanding of UK employment law
  • Highly organised, detail focused and comfortable managing multiple priorities independently
  • Strong communicator who builds effective relationships, with CIPD Level 3 or equivalent experience
Why consider this role

This is a great chance to join a people focused FMCG manufacturing business where HR is very much part of day to day life on site. You will work closely with operational leaders and have real input into culture, engagement and how people processes work in practice.

If you enjoy being on site, getting stuck in and supporting a fast-moving business, this could be a really great next step.
