Job description
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join one of our leading clients in the Abercynon area, where you will help to drive effective, legally compliant, and people-focused practices across the site. This is a generalist role covering Employee Relations, Recruitment, Polices and Procedures - and you will support across exciting projects. A varied and fast paced role and ideally you will come from a manufacturing or warehouse background. You will be responsible for a large team. If you are a hands-on HR professional, looking for your next challenge and want to be part of a friendly team -this is most certainly for you!
The main responsibilities would be the following: working as the “face” of HR throughout the business, working proactively to build relationships with Management, guiding and coaching within all areas of HR; involved with Employee Relations throughout the business, HR policies and processes in addition to having an engagement focus; working on key HR projects, partnering with stakeholders to achieve business objectives; focusing on Culture & Engagement throughout the business developing planning within these areas; facilitating discussions on various wider areas of HR, challenging and supporting with practical resolutions; working on disciplinaries and areas of grievance, looking at overall performance and absence management.
Ideally with CIPD qualified or with hands on experience within a decision-making HR role; proven experience with managing Employee Relations; experience of relationship building and challenging situations with the right approach, to ensure a satisfactory resolution; able to implement and work effectively with change to lead transformation; strong knowledge of HR policy and legislation; experience within all key HR business cycles, including performance management, succession planning, etc
