Are you an experienced HR administrator? Have you previously worked with onboarding, recruitment and RTW legislations?

If so, TXM Recruit are working in partnership with a high‑profile railway client who are looking for an experienced HR Administrator with knowledge of Right to Work, Onboarding and Recruitment. This is a hybrid role based in Birmingham, London on a 6‑month contract paying £115 per day (PAYE).

The role requires a high level of administration work to ensure it is managed in line with legal guidelines. The successful candidate will have knowledge of the new recruitment practices and experience working to tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities:
  • Support the recruitment process by conducting onboarding checks for new starters joining the business.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manage and resolve any backlog of onboarding checks, providing clear and concise updates to the team on a weekly basis.
  • Forecast anticipated start dates by assessing progress through onboarding processes and checks.
  • Adapt quickly to new systems, with the ability to learn and navigate five distinct platforms used throughout the onboarding process.
  • Maintain focus and accuracy while performing repetitive or routine tasks over extended periods.
