Job description

Aston Education is working with a large Ofsted Good secondary school in Lewisham looking for an HR Administrator.

Main responsibilities include:
  • Be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries
  • Administer HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment, new starter/leaver forms
  • Ensure the relevant HR databases are up to date, accurate and complies with legislation
  • Assist in the recruitment process, organise interviews and issue relevant correspondence
  • Diary management and arranging meetings
  • Accurate use and upkeep of filing and record keeping
You’ll have:
  • GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • CIPD qualification (Level 3) is desirable
  • HR experience in a school
  • Experience of recruitment, onboarding, pre-employment checks, as well as updating a school's Single Central Record
  • A strong understanding of equality of opportunity and diversity of issues
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
