Position: HR Administrator (Full Time)

Start date: As soon as possible

Location: Redbridge

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Smart Teachers is seeking an organised and proactive HR Administrator to join a large, well-established education setting in East London. This is an excellent opportunity for an efficient, detail-driven administrator who is committed to delivering high-quality HR support within a busy and professional environment

The Role:

The successful candidate will support the HR function across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring that processes run smoothly and in line with safer recruitment and safeguarding standards. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the HR team
  • Coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Assisting with recruitment administration and compliance checks
  • Maintaining accurate personnel records and supporting payroll data preparation
  • Ensuring safeguarding checks are completed, including DBS, references and right-to-work documentation
  • Supporting the management of absence, probation documentation and workforce data
  • Maintaining the Single Central Register and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
  • Contributing to ongoing development of HR systems, tracking processes, and data reporting

This is a varied position requiring excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
