That's someone that does the right thing, is enthusiastic and motivated to grow, believes in Community spirit, is respectful and enjoys their work. As the UK's leading Social Enterprise we're dedicated to creating inclusive and thriving Communities for both our Customers and Employees.

More about your role

We have 3x Housing Apprenticeship Tutors available.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly formed training Academy within the business – PfP Thrive – where we'll be delivering apprenticeships and formal qualifications to our own employees and within wider housing sector.

As part of your role you will design, deliver, and assess Level 4 and Level 5 CIH professional qualifications to managers and senior leaders. This will involve creating engaging curriculums with robust lesson plans that lead to an inspiring learner experience and ultimately learner success. This role will also require setting and marking suitable assessments – from assignments to professional discussions, ensuring you uphold the CIH professional standards.

This role will be supported by a network of co‑facilitators and guest speakers from the business – you'll oversee their delivery, provide coaching and feedback as well as carrying out standardisation activities and managing quality assurance.

Delivery will be both in‑person and virtual workshops, and will include learners from Places for People as well as other housing associations.

This role will involve a mixture of working from home and travel to multiple locations across the UK, so a full, clean driving license is essential, you will be entitled to an allowance to contribute to the upkeep of your vehicle and it is possible to claim back mileage.

You will be required to attend our Derby Training Centre once a week.

Essential Criteria
  • At least a L4 housing qualification, evidence of up‑to‑date CPD activity as you will be teaching L3 and L4 housing qualifications to professionals in the sector and will need up‑to‑date, relevant content e.g. Awaab's law.
  • Ideally, will have (or be willing to work towards) Level 3 Award in Teaching and Assessing.
  • Strong training and facilitation skills.
More about you

You have a relevant housing qualification and at least two years of senior‑level experience in the field. With a background in coaching and training, you excel in presentation, communication, and creating materials like PowerPoint slides and progress reports.

Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to build effective relationships across various levels. Ideally, you have experience in people management, lesson planning, and IT software.

You should hold or be working towards qualifications in education, assessment (A1/TAQA), and quality assurance.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary, with a salary review yearly.
  • Pension with matched contributions up to 7%.
  • Excellent holiday package – up to 35 days annual leave with the option to buy or sell leave.
  • Cashback plan for healthcare costs – up to £500 saving per year.
  • A bonus scheme for all colleagues at 2%.
  • Training and development.
  • Extra perks including huge discounts and offers from shops, cinemas and much more.
