Job description
Job Purpose

The Housing Property Officer supports the Council in delivering a place where all people can prosper by providing an efficient lease signing, termination and void process to customers and colleagues. The role helps tenants and their families sustain their tenancies by working with the Housing and Support Officer, other colleagues and external partners and by providing information to tenants and signposting them to services.

Location and Contract

Permanent, Full Time

PVG Membership Requirement

From 1 April 2023, roles requiring PVG membership will require candidates to meet the cost of PVG membership. This applies only to full time equivalent salaries of £30,000 and above. The Council will initially pay the PVG membership cost (£18 for existing members, £59 for non‑members) and this cost will be deducted from the employee’s first full month’s salary.

Minimum Requirements for the Post
