First Recruitment Services Ltd. is seeking a Homemove Officer in Haywards Heath, offering hybrid working with core hours 9:00am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday. This 3-month contract pays £18 per hour and focuses on supporting social housing allocations, assessing applications, and advising residents and partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing environments.
• Experience working with vulnerable individuals or clients with complex needs.
• Experience within housing services, homelessness, allocations, tenancy support, or similar field.

Responsibilities

• Assess housing applications and determine housing need in line with policies.
• Carry out verification checks including identity, address, and credit reference checks.
• Respond to day-to-day enquiries relating to housing allocations and assessments.
• Provide specialist written and verbal advice to applicants and partner organisations.
• Maintain accurate records and case notes using housing management systems.
• Monitor local housing demand and specialist accommodation needs.
• Work with internal and external agencies to support applicants and homelessness prevention.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
