Job summary

A housing management organization in Staffordshire is seeking a proactive Housing Officer to manage tenancies and ensure safe communities. Overview

We\'re looking for a proactive and dedicated Housing Officer to manage a patch of general needs tenancies, ensuring sustainable tenancies and safe, thriving communities.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of tenancy management, including sign-ups, tenancy inspections and ASB.
  • Take prompt and appropriate action in cases of medium to high level anti-social behaviour, working closely with residents, police, and partner agencies.
  • Conduct regular estate inspections and home visits to maintain high standards and build strong tenant relationships
  • Support data quality and compliance, ensuring customer systems are up to date and aligned with regulatory and safeguarding standards.
What we\'d love to see from you
  • Experience in tenancy or housing management, including handling ASB and tenancy enforcement.
  • Strong knowledge of housing legislation, policies, and good practice.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload, with a customer-focused and solution-oriented approach.
