Job summary

Home Group Limited is seeking a proactive housing professional to join on a temporary basis. The role involves working across Gateshead and Newcastle, with three days in the community and two days in the office, supporting customers and ensuring safe, compliant homes.

You will manage housing issues from first contact to resolution, handle anti‑social behaviour cases, and build strong relationships. A full driving licence and DBS check are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing management or similar customer‑facing role.
• Confidence managing anti‑social behaviour and complex customer situations.
• Knowledge of housing law, safeguarding and sustaining tenancies.
• Strong organisational skills and ownership from start to finish.
• Full driving licence with access to a vehicle.

Salary £32,640 per annum plus 34 days leave (inc bank holidays) and 2 paid volunteering days each year.?Home, a place where you belong

You have

• You have experience in housing management or a similar customer focused role
• You have confidence managing anti-social behaviour and complex customer situations
• You have knowledge of housing law, safeguarding, and sustaining tenancies
• You have strong organisation skills and take ownership from start to finish
• You have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle

The practical bits

• Full time (37.5 hpw), Monday to Friday - Temporary role for 6 months - Secondment opportunity
• You'll spend three days per week working in the community in Gateshead and two days per week in the office in Newcastle
• You need a vehicle insured for business use, and we pay your mileage
• You need an Enhanced DBS check that we pay for
