Job summary

Home Group in Scotland seeks a housing manager to shape safe, welcoming neighbourhoods across Glasgow and Dumfries and Galloway. You will build trusted relationships with customers, take ownership from first contact to resolution, and manage anti-social behaviour to keep communities secure.

The role is a 12-month temporary contract, full-time (37.5 hours), hybrid, with a regular anchor day in the office and travel across the patch. A driving licence is required and Enhanced DBS will be paid for.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing management or similar customer-focused role.
• Confidence handling anti-social behaviour and complex customer situations.
• Knowledge of housing law, safeguarding and sustaining tenancies.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to own tasks from start to finish.
• Team experience: part of a 6-person housing management team across Glasgow and Dumfries & Galloway.

Salary £32,000 per annum plus 34 days leave, rising to 39, and 2 paid volunteering days each year.

You have

• You have experience in housing management or a similar customer focused role.
• You have confidence managing anti-social behaviour and complex customer situations.
• You have knowledge of housing law, safeguarding, and sustaining tenancies.
• You have strong organisation skills and take ownership from start to finish.
• You'll be joining a team of 6 other experienced, supportive and caring housing managers working across Glasgow and Dumfries and Galloway.

The practical bits

• Temporary (12 months contract), full time (37.5 hpw)
• Core working hours between 9:0am to 5:00pm with flexibility built in.
• Hybrid role, primarily based in the community across Dumfries and Annandale, with a regular anchor day in the office to connect and collaborate with your team.
• You need a vehicle insured for business use and a driving license (we pay your mileage).
• You need an Enhanced DBS check that we pay for.
