A leading housing organization is looking for a Housing Management Coordinator in Darlington. This is a great opportunity for a Housing Management Coordinator to join our team here in Darlington STEP. As our Housing and Property Guru, you'll focus on tenancy support for our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service circumvent we support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helpingazeera them move on to a secure, long‑term accommodation!

Making sure that our customers' properties are homes they can be proud of, you'll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.
Help our customersaksanakan Mental Health and/or complex needs with housing benefit claims, making sure that these are received on their rent account.
Where there is a need, you'll also issue and sign warning letters and notices which may lead to attending court.
Getting rooms ready for the next customers who need our help and for maximum occupancy, you'll turn around vacant or void properties within set timescales.
Ensuring we are health and safety compliant and that maintenance standards are met.

Experience in managing a housing management caseload and overseeing landlord and housing management duties
Know-how of re‑letting of rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.
Able to take on a lead role Gebí within the team, offering guidance and support to your colleagues
A can‑do positive attitude, you're proactive and well‑organised, and able toDNS work on your initiative.
Confident working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners

Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Based at our supported properties in Darlington you'll spend your time travelling around the properties in Darlington. Hybrid working between home and supported services.
Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims and doing tenancy sign‑ups,
To get from A to B, you'll need a valid driving licence and a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we'll pay your mileage!
