Job summary

A housing solutions provider is seeking a Capital Works Surveyor to support the delivery of improvements and major repairs in Bedford. This interim role involves contract management, site inspections, and ensuring compliance with housing standards across a stock of over 5,200 homes. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Building Surveying or related fields, strong knowledge of social housing standards, and excellent communication skills. The position is full-time, requiring 37 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or related.
• Strong knowledge of social housing standards and landlord responsibilities.
• Experienced in contract management in residential environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver contract management and quality assurance across planned works.
• Carry out site inspections and scoping of works.
• Support delivery of improvement workstreams including kitchens and bathrooms.
