This is a temporary Housekeeping Assistant role at Beckenham Park Care Home, operated by Avery Healthcare. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and laundry in the care home, working as part of a team and treating residents with dignity and respect.

Package Description

Shift details: Monday to Sunday.

Responsibilities

As a Housekeeping Assistant, your focus will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home according to Avery Healthcare's standard operating procedures. Other responsibilities include:

• Carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
• Understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
• Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity accompaniment and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.

About the Role

Working as part of a team, the Housekeeping Assistant will maintain cleanliness and laundry standards across the home, operating under Avery Healthcare’s standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry and ensuring hotel service standards are upheld.
