A premier hospitality resort in Northern Ireland is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to ensure all accommodation is clean and tidy for guests. You will undertake various cleaning tasks, maintain communication with the front desk, and adhere to safety guidelines. Job description

As Housekeeping Assistant, you will join a team and ensure all hotel accommodation is clean and tidy and ready for our guests. Please see employer website for full job details & person specification.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and servicing the Resort as directed by Housekeeping Supervisor and/or Manager.
• Complete tasks such as making beds, changing linens, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures plus a variety of other cleaning tasks.
• Using disinfectants and steam-operated sterilisers.
• Adhering to all safety and personal protective equipment, practices, and procedures.
• Working within the guidelines of Health, Safety, Fire, and Hygiene operatives to ensure all staff and guests are safe at all times.
• Maintaining clear, efficient communication with the front desk team ensuring rooms and public areas are serviced in a timely fashion ready for our hotel guests.

Further Information

Salary: £12.21 per hour moving to £13.21 per hour after 6-month probationary period is completed. Transport: We also offer our Housekeeping team a bus service from collection points in Ballymena town to the Resort and you will be left back at these points after your shift.The Resort has a number of bedrooms including suites, deluxe and superior rooms. We also have self-accommodation in the form of riverside cabins, cottage suites, and shepherd's huts set on the grounds as well as our private residencies Red Oaks, Charles Lanyon Lodge, and Linen Merchants.
